Changelog
What changed in Changeline, newest first.
In the first release
Changeline is not on the Atlassian Marketplace yet. Its first release has what this site describes, and each release after it is listed here with its date.
The five measures
Deployment frequency, change lead time, failed deployment recovery time, change fail rate and deployment rework rate, in two groups, throughput and instability, each with its count.
A tab in every space
A space’s own releases and failures, counted on their own.
Across spaces
Under Apps, pick spaces, a saved filter or a JQL, and a period of 30, 90, 180 or 365 days.
Against your own past
Each figure carries a better-or-worse lozenge against the same days just before the period, and its count shows the figure before. No bands, no ranking against other teams.
Where the lead time goes
The change lead time split into waiting to start, in progress and waiting for release.
A work item panel
On a work item, its change lead time by stage, the release it shipped in and whether that release failed, in a panel and a glance in the Details column.
A Spaces tab
Where the work comes from more than one space, each space’s five figures side by side, and a Chart chip on the Trend to pick the measure it draws.
Every figure’s work
A Trend tab by week or month, and Releases (with their rework) and Failures tabs listing what was counted.
What a deployment is
A released version by default, or a work item that reaches Done for teams that keep no versions.
Failures
A work item of a failure type that points at a release by its Affects versions or a link, from its creation to the release that ships its fix. Bug and every Incident type by default, and spaces to also read failures from.
Dashboard gadget
The five figures for a space, a saved filter or a JQL.
Settings
What a deployment is, when lead time starts, and the failure work types and the spaces failures are also read from, set by a Jira admin.
Downloads and links
Every tab’s rows as Excel or CSV, and a link that opens the same view.
