Settings
Jira administrators change what Changeline counts, once for the whole site, under Jira settings › Apps › Changeline settings. The defaults give figures on the first page, so a team can read the figures before anyone opens the settings. Everyone else sees the figures for the work items they may browse.
Where Changeline shows up
A card at the top lists the places Changeline appears for your teams: a tab in every space, the Apps page, the work item and the dashboard gadget.
Deployments
What counts as a deployment: A released version (the default), or A work item reaching Done. With the second, the Releases tab is named Deployments and lists each work item that reached Done. See What counts as a deployment.
Lead time
Where the clock starts: When work starts (the default), at a work item’s first move out of To Do, or When the work item is created. Changeline reads each work item’s history either way, because Where the lead time goes needs the first move out of To Do; with creation the lead time is created to release, and waiting to start is inside it. See The five measures.
Failures
Work types that count as a failure, when they point at a release. Bug, and every work type whose name contains Incident, by default. Also read failures from these spaces adds the spaces where failures live, such as a Jira Service Management space. See Failures and recovery time.
The review request
Once Changeline is listed on the Atlassian Marketplace, a link to its reviews shows on this page and in a banner on its pages until each person dismisses it. See What is stored.
