Settings
Settings apply to every space on the site. Only Jira admins can change them, from Jira settings › Apps › Dueline settings; they are saved with Save. Nothing is flagged as wrong until you change something or press Save.

Rules that apply to you
Switch on GDPR, NIS2, DORA or CRA. Only these are asked when a work item is qualified, and at least one must be on. Each says who it covers, such as “financial entities” for DORA. The assessment is yours: switch on what applies to your organisation.
Main establishment
The country of your main establishment, from the EU and EEA countries. It sets the time zone a weekend is read in and where a month is counted, and picks the authority each report goes to (Where to file). DORA needs it.
Your financial sector
Shown while DORA is on: banks, investment firms, insurers or payment institutions. It picks the authority DORA reports go to. Leave it empty and every DORA authority of your country is listed.
DORA weekend rule
Tick this if you are a credit institution, central counterparty, trading venue or NIS2 entity. Then the rule does not move the initial and intermediate reports off a weekend (Delegated Regulation 2025/301, Art. 5(5)).
NIS2 trust service providers
Tick this if you are a trust service provider. Then the incident notification is due within 24 hours, not 72 (Art. 23(4)).
Reminders
Remind the response team is on by default. With it on, Dueline comments on a work item when a report’s time is a quarter left and when it has passed. What the comment says and who it mentions is in Reminders.
Response team
The people and groups who may qualify a work item and record reports. See The response team.
When a setting changes
Deadlines are worked out each time a work item is shown, from the times stored and the settings as they are now. A corrected country or weekend rule therefore corrects the clocks of work items already qualified.
Until an admin has saved settings, the panel says Dueline is not set up and offers Open Dueline settings.
