Teams

A team is a Jira group. A Jira admin offers the groups that are teams; anyone can then plan one team at a time with the Team filter.

Offering a team

In Workline settings, under Teams, pick the Jira groups the plan’s Team filter offers. Groups are listed from Jira; where the list is cut, search for another. See Settings.

Planning one team

Choose a group in Team. Every member of the group gets a row, with or without work, so a person with nothing planned shows as having time. Only their work counts. A team’s first members are read up to a limit, and a grey line under the table says when it was cut.

Without a team, the plan shows everyone who has work in the scope.

On the gadget

The gadget’s Edit view offers the same teams. With a team picked it shows each member’s next four weeks.

Placeholders in a team

A placeholder can be given a team. With that team picked, its placeholders show with its members. See Placeholders.

What a team is not

Workline reads Jira groups. It does not create teams, move people between them or read any other team structure. A change to a group in Jira shows in the plan on its next read.
