Saved and shared reports

A saved report keeps its period, rows, columns and options, so the same report opens the same way every time.

Saving

Save stores the report under a name: its period, rows, columns and options. Save as new keeps a copy under another name. Saved reports are listed under Saved reports in three tabs, Mine, Shared with me and All, with each report’s owner, period, who it is shared with and when you last opened it. Open, duplicate or delete a report from there.

Sharing

Share a report with chosen people, with Jira groups or with everyone on this site. People you share with can open the report and save a copy; only its owner can change it. A Jira admin may delete any report, and can limit who may share reports in Settings.

Whose hours a shared report shows

A shared report always runs as the person viewing it. Jira’s permissions decide which worklogs each viewer sees, so two people can see different totals for the same report, and the report says so.
